By enlarging the glove she makes the object a lot harder to look past, and adds an almost mythical layer onto the otherwise mundane object. The glove was made of jute, a natural fiber that can be absorbed back into nature. The artist filled the glove with the seeds of 18 different native wildflowers in hopes to be able to return something to the location, in stead of only putting something there and essentially taking space. As wild as nature gets, the seeds and young sprouts were mostly eaten by deer and birds, resulting in more of a decaying glove, instead of a blooming one.
